Trash, Recycling & Yard Waste
City of Raleigh Solid Waste Services
Find your pickup schedule, holiday changes, and yard waste guidelines by address on the City’s website.
Bulky item pickup (furniture, mattresses, large items that don’t fit in your garbage cart): $35 per load, no limit on number of pickups. Call 919-996-3245 to schedule. Do not place items at the curb before scheduling or you may be fined.
Special load pickup (appliances, exercise equipment, excess garbage/yard waste): $70 per load. Call 919-996-3245 to schedule.
E-waste pickup (electronics with a cord — TVs, monitors, microwaves, etc.): Free, up to 4 items per week, Tuesdays only. Call 919-996-3245 to schedule.
